Rachel whispers to me, "Don't sit by him Willow, that's Ace Black. He's some freak from out of town. I've heard people say that he was in this creepy cult and that's why he couldn't come to school before. Stay away from him Willow, he's dangerous," and points towards a tan skinned boy in a black hoodie.
My eyes search for Ace and it land on him once my eyesight reaches the back of the room. I see the seat around him empty and the people that are seated relatively close to him are leaning away from him like he's a ticking time bomb.
I stare at him for a moment and see his hazel hair which complement his deep violet eyes. I look to his right cheek and gasp audibly when I see a huge scar from what looks like a knife. My eyes widen and he turns his face away once he realizes I'm looking.
I start to walk over to him, but then Rachel suddenly pulls my arm sharply and forces me to sit down next to her in the front of the classroom.
"I'm trying to help you Willow. You'll thank me for this later," Rachel states.
