Picks up where the last episode of The Originals left off. Years after the Mikaelson brother's sacrifice their lives to save Hope's, an organization called 'The New Order' is formed. Their purpose is going after the supernatural beings that they believe have committed some sort of crime against the 'natural order of things' and punish them accordingly, but you won't know about them until you're in their radar.
Alexandra, a mysterious and seemingly perfect stranger arrives to New Orleans in search of allies that will not only help her escape her impending doom in the hands of The New Order, but also rescue her mom who's also been kidnapped by them. She knows exactly who can help her, but she's not so certain they will agree to give up their newfound peace after a thousand years of being slaves to a particularly pesky vow.
To Alex, it's time to believe in 'Always and Forever' more than ever, learn how to work side by side with a family she's never known to fight for her life, and rescue the one she loves the most.
