They were forced to switch. Forced to be torn apart. Forced to become depressed. Kid was good at hiding it, he wore the necklace she gave him every single day. She wasn't as good at hiding her emotions though, and that made her seem weak to her partner. He was rude to her, he didn't care if she had feelings. To him, she was just another weapon, a tool. He didn't need to worry about her needs.

But when the DWMA came around, everything changed for the meister and the weapon. It was that day when Amber Sparks life changed.

She was reunited with her old meister, he was reunited with his old weapon. As far as they knew, they wouldn't loose eachother again.
