The first thing I hear is a whimper. I turn around to find the source, but at first I only see the dark hallway. Then I hear it again, and two big, brown eyes open and look at me from a corner. Now when I've seen the eyes, I start noticing more details - the dark brown braid, the freckled cheeks that are wet of tears, the skinny arms chinging to each other. "Tressa." I say silently. My sister blinks a few times to prevent more tears from comming. "What are you doing up this early? It's not even 7 yet." "I had a nightmare." Tressa whispers. "It was me. I was reaped." I sit down next to her and put my arms around her. "Don't worry." I mumble. "You're only eleven. You can't even get picked yet. You're safe." She nods slowly, and I smile at her. I stand up and pull her up with me. "Go get some more sleep, okay?" I say and wipe a tear away from her cheek. "You have nothing to worry about." Theta's life flips the moment, her name is reaped for the 72nd Hunger Games. She promises herself to do her best to win it for the sake of her family, but is it enough? Will she win it and go home safely, or is she going to be one of the 23 dead? [CREDITS: The Hunger Games is cpoyright Suzanne Collins. Most of the information I use come from thehungergames.wikia.com from the pages about The Hunger Games (event) and District 7. The map I used af a reference to how big District 7 is and where it's placed can be found on this link: http://www.badhaven.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/My-Well-Thought-Out-Map-of-Panem-the-hunger-games-trilogy-18114988-1166-891.jpg I don't know if it's official or even correct, but it makes sense to me. Enjoy my story :) More chapters will be added later, but if you have questions, comment or even some corrections, feel free to throw them at me ;)]
