Zimruphân is no lord. He is no Gondorian, he is no king. Harad is a harsh place for a weak soul. When scraping together coin as a mercenary, even sinking to a bandit when times are hard, life out on the sands can be an easy way to get killed. That is, if you lack the wits. And Zimruphân's seen his fair share of surprise.

However, things will drastically change when a dangerous storm separates him from his mission and the partner he traveled with. Alone, he wanders, until crossing paths with another, beaten stray. While everything is in perspective, would it be a sin to shift his view on the land he inhabits?

A Lord of the Rings oneshot for the Distant Lands Awards, taking place in Harad.

I don't own JRR Tolkien's works (I know, how shocking) and ideas, or the places and backstories used. The picture used in the cover is not mine, and belongs to its respective owner. So yeah, safe to say I own nothing.

Gamleon's Tail ~ Welcome to the worlds of : Within ~ by Cicada3300
17 parts Ongoing Mature
I wrote this for EVERYONE. To appeal to anyone that reads ANY genre. It combines almost all of them. It's an introduction to the Worlds of Within universe. When you get to the action parts (which doesn't take long) you should be invested enough to want to unravel the mysteries and enjoy its intrigue... The flood is raging. A terrifying, heartless mountain of water, swallowing the world . The tunnel networks? Of course, that won't save them. The forests? Like leaves in a breeze. The lookout towers and trade hubs? Gone. Washed clean. Every home, every last trace of what once was. Gamleon is the first to see it ... and survive. His mind is near collapse, his heart broken. He runs. What would YOU do? What could anyone do? Some scrape by in a mythological setting of beasts and medieval men. Cruel, literally cold-blooded Gorgon hordes enforce an absolute rule slithering in the tunnels beneath the feet of every kingdom. There is an isolated, forgotten place. A cavern, magnificent and vast, older than civilization. A place where the weird and the unwanted might ride out this cataclysm if Gamleon can stay alive long enough to get them there.. In this special place, something incredible, cut off from the outside, lurks. Something... you won't be ready for or ever expect. Gamleon, our weary adventurer, is a paradox: terrifying to some perhaps, yet his heart and intent is helpful, with a quiet dignity bordering on noble, intimidating and innately intelligent. The only way back out is to navigate the Gorgon tunnels. Join him, won't you ? Share his inner thoughts . See and feel how they help us all learn how to persist and triumph in spite of a world where everything is stacked against us. ( sound familiar, it should.) Join him and be swept away as he encounters or invents never-before-seen innovations and outrageous challenges. Dignity meets hope. Self-respect shines beyond courage. Welcome my friend to the Worlds of Within.

Drones of Dune - A Murder Drones X Dune crossover

24 parts Complete

"Power over spice is power over all." After a decade after the defeat of the AbsoluteSolver and the worker drone's extinction, N and Uzi knew they were gonna settle in for the rest of their days. But when Sardaukar troops, sent by the Paddishah emperor Shaddam IV, in favor of House Harkonnen, take them, they go through a bit of a rough patch while on Arrakis. Yet, something is lurking back on the frozen exo planet that is Copper 9... (I do not own Murder Drones or Dune, all credit goes to Glitch/Liam Vickers for Murder Drones, and Frank Herbert for Dune.)
