Zimruphân is no lord. He is no Gondorian, he is no king. Harad is a harsh place for a weak soul. When scraping together coin as a mercenary, even sinking to a bandit when times are hard, life out on the sands can be an easy way to get killed. That is, if you lack the wits. And Zimruphân's seen his fair share of surprise.
However, things will drastically change when a dangerous storm separates him from his mission and the partner he traveled with. Alone, he wanders, until crossing paths with another, beaten stray. While everything is in perspective, would it be a sin to shift his view on the land he inhabits?

ZAYYAD Synopsis: The companions of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him shared the deen of Allah all over the world. Their followers also followed in their footsteps. Sageer Al'amin brought Islam to a place in the vast Arabian desert peninsula. The citizens, being engrossed in deep polytheism and evil monarchy rejected the message of Allah. Al'amin was treated badly but luckily with the light of Islam, some people converted to Muslims and surrounded him with aid. The deen of Allah spread slowly which made the king angry. They started mistreating the Muslims which led to conflicts and small-scale wars. In the process, Al'amin was killed. The Muslims fought their way out and in a few years established their cities, despite the Kafir's interference. Their power grew as more Muslims were born. The peninsula was divided into three; the kafir empire: Shams, the Muslim Emirates: Noor Al-Islam, and the Gold Empire. After his mother was abandoned by his father because she chose to convert to Islam, Zayyad grew up with his mother in Amatran. The Shams empire was trying its best to eradicate the Muslim cities, so the Muslims built up their armies too. Being a hot-blooded youth, who was determined to join the jihad and also find his father, Zayyad joined the recruitment of the Noor army. He found himself in a training ground where they were taught how to fight and more about their deen. Zayyad trained and joined the war, being entangled with many known and unknown vices. Their aim; make the deen of Allah prosper.

One fights in order to cross the seas and augment his territories, the other one want his turbid waters to invade the land. And because they are equally powerful, the line of war is almost always at the shore. A balance that prevents their advancement on the enemy territory. Until one day when the "Legend of the Four Sons" disrupts this balance, and the Kingdom of the Seas invades mercilessly the Kingdom of the Dry Land, breaking it into a number of islands; over time, only four pieces of land are left amidst the seas; on them - four port-towns: Isbynorr, Narzomand, Salgornu, and Zendovir. On the other hand, the Kingdom of the Dry Land sends its explorers to cross the endless seas in search of other territories. Torn between his father's commands and his growing empathy for the captive, the prince grapples with the darkness in his heart and an unexpected connection begins to form between him and Legolas. Though just slightly older, they are more alike than either would have guessed. Set against a backdrop of snow, ancient magic and conflicted hearts, the lines between enemies and allies blurs. -------------- This story will follow an unnamed elven prince in first person perspective, there will be some mentions of clothes or hair color but other than that, he is for self insertion. The story is almost done but I will update chapters over time. Triggering situations will be pointed out, with the concrete triggers put in a list before each chapter. Even though this story is about Legolas, there will not be any more details on the fellowship or the main story of Lord of the rings. This is story is going to be slow burning.
