The Forest Caretakers

The legend goes like this...Once in a millennium will the Caretakers of The Forest would come out of the forest to examine what had changed or there was something of the sort they had to do outside the forest. Some say they kidnap older dying people so they can feast upon there old wrinkly flesh, others say they make prayers on those who past to become part of the forest itself. Nobody knows what they are exactly or how they came into existence, but for those who know the secret must never tell a soul or there life is met with demise and turmoil. Only chosen ones claimed by the forest tell the secrets that they hold of the creation of the Forest Caretakers, no human but those chosen may speak of the secret.
