Alexander Hamilton is tired of feeling broken. He wants to start over, forget his past and have a fresh, new beginning at college. Then he meets John Laurens, who is a dorky, lovable goofball that also wants to get away from who he used to be. But things in the past don't always stay in the past. And promises are

Far Too Damaged- A Lams Fanfiction by Fanficsat2AM

Alexander Hamilton is selectively mute, depressed, and just altogether damaged. His soulmate, John Laurens, knows it too, from the overwhelming waves of sadness he feels occasionally to the aching pains in his forearms. John wishes that he could help him, but he knows nothing about his soulmate. However, the odds are in Alexander and John's favor when Alex enrolls in Kings College, where John is a student. John might find Alex, but will it be in time? Can he save him from James Reynolds? WARNINGS: There is rape, angst, depression, cursing, and lots of other stuff that is inappropriate for young reader. I can't stop you though. Basically how the soulmate thing works like: When you kiss your soulmate, a band in your skin forms on your left ring finger. You can change the band to look however you want. If your soulmate is feeling a strong emotion, your soulmate feels it too. If you get hurt, your soulmate feels a muffled version of that pain. Yes I used a Heathers quote as the title FIGHT ME (Don't actually I'm weak, there's a reason I act instead of playing sports) (Not that acting/dancing/singing isn't hard but ya). I really had no idea what I was doing when I started writing this so sorry if it's weird or things don't make sense. All characters belong to Lin-Manuel Miranda and all those people DON'T SUE ME Me looking back on this story: F*ck, this is so angsty and cringey, but I can't take it down because it has so many reads. *cries in author*

"The first rule of living on the streets (or rather, living at all) is that you never get too attached to anything. Don't waste your time. Don't make the effort. Because fortunes changed by the second. People don't stay. Alex was smart enough to know how it worked. He was also smart enough to know that he'd crossed that line with John too long ago to take it back." ------------------------ There's usually one rule when it comes to having a big group of friends: Do NOT date inside of the group. It's strict but simple, it avoids third wheeling scenarios and messy breakups; those never end well. So, truly, falling in love with your childhood best friend fucking sucked.
