(I've been seeing Fanfics about the avatar movie so I wanted to make one myself too) Taneya is an 18 year old girl, adopted from the Sully family. She is a Na'vi with 5 fingers. Far through the forest and deep into the Hallelujah mountains, lived a village of Na'vi who called themselves Toruk Tìhawnu si, protectors of the last shadow. The Kekunan clan isn't known to many other clans for they cling to the notion of staying hidden. One with the Ikrans and the flying mountains of Pandora. A clan driven by being the greatest aerial hunters, silent but immensely deadly. Amongst these people were their fearless leaders: Ralu, the Olo'eyktan, and Tsyal, the Tsahìk. Years ago the leaders of the Kekunan had a daughter. Born with blonde hair and strange markings, she was thought to be a descendant of evil and therefore was cast aside. Growing up, many stayed away from the girl, fearing they'd be cursed. Soon her parents thought it best to send her away to live in the forests below, alone, at the mere age of 10. Growing up in the forest she became close to all the animals that surrounded her, even the ones that tended to be more aggressive, like the palulukan. She also learned that she had a strange connection to Eywa and that she could heal those who were hurt or dying. "Raeya!" He said and lifted the newborn baby into the air. The entire village had gathered to greet the new baby girl and witness the miracle of birth. Lau'ri held his first born baby girl in his hands and looked at her mother with a loving look. "She has your eyes," he said while looking into his wife's eyes. The baby didn't cry, she just stared at the vast beauty of the deep blue sky. She was as calm as the waves that day. Lau'ri couldn't take his eyes off of her. His life had been blessed with a beautiful girl they named Raeya. "Take me away from here," she whispered quietly. Neteyam lifted his head away from hers and looked at her. "Away? What do you mean?" He was confused by her words. But she just looked at him and placed both her hands on the sides of his face. This story follows the first born child of the Olo'eyktan and Tsahik of the Omaticaya clan. Older sister to Neteyam, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Tuktirey. She was raised to be the perfect balance of Neytiri and Jake, maybe a little too perfect. Follow her story as she has to give up the only life she has ever known to keep her people safe. --**-- My grandmother notices my frozen state and makes her way to me. "My child..." I turn to look at her, "do not be afraid of life, do not be afraid of fate, be afraid of doing nothing to change it." As the words leave her lips, it sparks a dying fire in my heart. A fire I thought would extinguish along with my title. I smile and pull her into a hug, "I will find my way back to you one day..." I whisper in her ear. "I know, and when you do, you will be a different person. I cannot wait to meet her." With her final words, and a newfound light in my soul, I turn to follow my family down the pathway. I reach the end and mount Kxitx, and with one last look at my clan, I pull my headpiece over my forehead, yip to signal takeoff, and burst from the ground like a sapling reaching to the sun. A strange and dangerous new world awaits her. --- The story grew out of the fact that the character (an undead warlock) was "boosted" straight from level 1 to 90 and therefore had no experience with the modern world of Azeroth. As a voluntary restriction, I tried to keep myself bound by the game setting and its rules (with a few notable exceptions). Most of the supporting characters are actually NPCs in the game world. Thanks: - Cranius, whose song "Darrowshire" inspired me to start looking at this very moving part of WoW's lore, and indirectly gave me the idea for this character.
