Coriolanus Snow has been executed and President Alma Coin has her way. In an attempt to pacify the new district-led democracy, twenty-four children have been selected from the remaining Capitol population to participate in the Seventy-Sixth Hunger Games.

Some tributes, like the shy Rosemarie Snow, are high profile enemies of the state. Others, like the soft-hearted Petronius Lyre, were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. And others yet, like the elusive Themis Gossamer, have more secrets than anyone has bargained for.
