The Hunger Within

I am currently trying to recover from Anorexia B/P subtype. This is a short story to try to describe how I felt in my worst moments. I don't usually personify the eating disorder, but this was the best way I knew how to describe how it feels to be trapped in this disorder. Like it isn't you who is making the choices. Like your mind has been invaded by someone else.

Strong trigger warning for disordered behavior, sexual assault references and quotes, body shaming, etc. This is one of my most raw pieces of work and one of the few stories I've shared that I felt needed such a warning.
