[Script and situation taken from an iconic scene from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and applied to the Gumball universe. Only the characters and some minor details have been modified to better suit the scenario. Purely fan fiction but would be neat if it were real] This is a new experiment I'm trying out with new show in focus.

It is Darwin's 12th birthday, and as a special surprise, Gumball and Anais have tracked down Darwin's long-lost mother Meredith. But little does Darwin realize what Nicole has been trying to tell him throughout the episode, that Meredith only agreed to see her son for her own personal desires. In this last scene, after being confronted by Nicole for being the irresponsible careless mother she truly is, we watch as Darwin's mother walks out one final time, and how Darwin accepts this fate.
