It is also the story of every parent who tries to shelter their child, Cynthia realizes that shielding does not always mean protecting and that sometimes you need to trust the ones who trust you.

Cynthia's words hurt Miranda in more ways than she could fathom. What was that supposed to mean, she held back her tears and tried to go on. "I know, but"
Cynthia put a hand on Mirandas shoulder. "Its alright, you should go to sleep now. Its late, thanks for being home with her today." Miranda began to go but she stopped, without turning back she spoke, her voice shaking, "Mom, I wish you would have taken me." A single tear dropped from her eye and she walked back to her room calming herself before going in.
