This was the only entry in the journal of Elizabeth Holden that was found. What happened after.. well.. that's what we are trying to figure out.

I entered this story into a novella writing competition in 2013 for which it was shortlisted. I had developed it from an intial 2,000-word concept into a 10,000-word story although at some point, I'd like to revisit it and work it into something more fully fleshed-out.
