Lexi Martinec has a completely normal life, or so she thought. She is head over heels for her boyfriend, just as any other girl would. She makes a major mistake by breaking up with him. During Summer break, he's all she thinks about. She had her chance with him, but she blew it. She can't wait to see him back at school, but things change when she runs into him- next to her locker. Lexi is in love with her new locker neighbor. Lexi has a terrible past that she doesn't want to be replayed. Things go terribly wrong when she makes one mistake and trusts the wrong girl, once again. Her life starts going downhill, until one Irish boy changes her. He gives her hope, reaches out to her. All is bearable, for the most part, but then she learns a little about herself. Lexi wishes she was born into a different family. With her terrible past, drunks for parents, and something lurking in her blood, she loses it. Will she ever recover?
