Sorrowful Souls

Zakkariya Idris Anwar chased darkness. After the death of his mother, he found himself isolated away from the world. He felt alone, forgotten and lost so he dragged his way back into the spiral of darkness until he was trapped within it. He had no hope he would ever find light again.

Maysa Dawood searched for light. In the midst of her search for light, she was struggling to cut the ropes of darkness that followed her everywhere she went. She envied those who found living so
easy because for her, every morning she woke up was another day she lived with the regrets of her past.

They both found company in each other's darkness, unknown to them that there was light waiting to be found.

This is the story of two tortured souls who find company in each other's sorrows. Little did they know while they fought their inner battles, their silent prayers were heard by the One who forgives the sins of His slave time and time again ; all they needed to do was turn to Him.
