Wanda Maximoff had lost her family to humans, or homosapiens as her friend, Raven or Mystique, calls them. Since then, she has hated them because they murdered her family. Orphanage to orphanage, something always went down when she was there. If it wasn't because she was getting picked on by those girls in her room because she was so weird and distant, then it was the staff forcing her to get along or she would go into the 'RED ROOM', a room for mutants where they lock you in and make you sit in a cold dark room for a few hours. The longest someone she knew has been in there was 12 hours.
Wanda feared that one day she will go in that room. Feared that she would end up going crazy in a split second. But that fear slipped away when she overheard a conversation about her getting adopted.
