Lucile, such a unique name in their small town. What was more unique was her hair, long white locks that reached her waist. Her family thought she was blessed, others thought she was cursed. Even so, crooks and bandits still longed for a lock of her hair as it would sell for a high price. Silas, a feared assassin in these parts was also cursed. His eyes, which were colored blood red made him even more terrifying. This summer morning on June 17, 1867, is where this story begins.
