These are excerpts from a larger story I'm writing. Caleb is a modern teenager who was brought to an alien planet which was under attack. He helped defend it, his extra terrestrial friend, Princess Xleyronna (Ley) Alderachi of the Adreke, being the true hero. But Ley's unfortunate past will come back to haunt them in the worst way possible.
