What if Rose was able to save Dimitri before he was turned into a Strigoi? Well, I've thought about that. There are obviously two endings that would go with this twist. I chose the one that doesn't end with rainbows and hearts. It's the day after the attack and Dimitri has bad news for Rose. He's leaving her for Tasha Ozera. Rose can't help but be depressed by this. Everyone's noticed that she's changed, but only a few know the real reason. But, when Lissa has an idea, there's another problem. One including Dimitri. But, he left. Rose doesn't think he's worth her time. So, who will she lean on?

I took a deep breath and told myself that Christian didn't notice anything about me, but, what if Lissa does? I can't seem to shake this feeling of her not treating me the same way she always does if she sees me like this. I felt the atmosphere thicken with shock, hate, and above all sadness. They were all coming through the bond. How could I compete with telling her a lie when I knew how she felt? What if she turns me away because I shut her out for the past two months? " "Lissa don't turn this back to you! It's not about you! Everything isn't always about you! Yes, I shouldn't have left but I did. What do you want me to do? Apologize over and over? A Vampire Academy Fan-fiction: Roses Nightmare
When Rose shows up at Dimitri's dorm in the middle of the night crying and scared he is heartbroken. He tries to comfort her and ends up letting her stay the night. This leads to a series of events such as Tasha (Christian's aunt) finding out about them and Dimitri once again trying to stay away from Rose to hide his feelings. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ This Fan-fiction is based after Frostbite but Before Shadowkissed. I tried to follow the Vampire Academy novels so it doesn't change their plot line. I know the description sounds really bad but the actual story is a lot better. I will try and upload a chapter a night but I'm not making any promises. Roses Nightmare alternates between Dimitri's and Rose's point of view.
