It’s been 50 years since the rebellion. It’s been 50 years since President Snow died. It’s been 50 years of peace. District 12, now known as the Province of Rivergreen, has risen from destruction and has prospered. Lily Primrose Everdeen, the granddaughter of the famous Star-Crossed-Lovers, finds herself living a lonely life. Despite living in a loving family of six (her parents and three brothers), she feels as if something is missing—spaces of her heart empty, waiting for someone to fill them. While hunting in the woods, just like her grandmother before her, she runs into someone unexpected. He brings word of a new horror rising in the Capital, threatening to plunge a world that has been at peace for 50 years back into chaos. A long forgotten threat is rising from the ashes. As Lily fights to save her home and all the ones she loves most, will she find what her heart desires? Love in a dangerous time has its consequences. Will she have to choose love over war and abandon everything?... Or can she rise above the war and fight against the hated with her newly found love to prove the world wrong?

Mutts, tracker jackers, Gale, Prim, Peeta being taken away, Peeta choking me, monkeys tearing at my flesh, children burning, the games. The kids would usually wake up but now they are used to it. After a few years they realize Mommy and Daddy are okay.But Peeta will never get used to it his arms are always there to comfort me, protect me. Then eventually his lips to please me, to make me forget. "Always" SUMMARY: Long after the games Peeta and Katniss live in their beloved home of District 12 with their children. District 12 holds many memories of the past. The past is a burden to carry and it may never leave them. New things will rise in District 12. Will peace ever come? While the characters and some plot points are based off of Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Trilogy, (which I in no way own the rights to) I have created this story using my own imagination.
