You've heard of the Avatar on Pandora. You've heard of Eragon and the dragons. You've heard of Lord of the Rings and their races and wars. You've heard of The Brotherband Chronicles and their pirating. But you haven't heard of Ferris.
The story of Ferris hopes to draw inspiration from every fantasy novel, game, and movie I have ever read, played, or watched. I originally sculpted this world when I wanted to lose myself in a fantasy of my own imagination. It might have sparked from an English paper years ago, but it wasn't until very recently when a little birdy by the name of "Jelly_Bear210" told me she wanted to read this story. When she requested a read I knew I had to make edits otherwise I was going to just embarrass myself with my writing. So, I'm revising everything, line by line.

Crushed Underneath the Surface
For years, I've been writing in silence, creating worlds, characters, and stories that lived only in the margins of my notebooks and tucked-away folders on my computer. Writing has always been my escape, something I've done for myself-a way to step out of reality for a moment and breathe through the lives of the people I've imagined. Monster Beneath The Surface (Solangelo AU)
Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! Therefore I decided to be a narrator, to write one, a fan fiction (retaining the rhyming style in my writing) for all those who did not know about such a story; children, adults, and all who still have the child's heart within (him/her)self.
