Maddy Carter and Jacob Whitesides were alike in the fact that they both lived in the world of 1's and 0's - the internet.
Jacob has already gotten his break in the social media world, with over 1 million fans, several tours, and an upcoming EP. Meanwhile, Maddy's just getting started, with a small YouTube channel and an even smaller fanbase.
That all changes when she's discovered by Jacob himself.
Soon, her popularity skyrockets, bringing her a bit of fame as well as a good dose of hate, both online and at school. Maddy and Jacob develop an online friendship, which ultimately leads to Maddy being driven out of her hometown of Charolette, North Carolina and into the big Music City: Knoxville, Tennessee.
When Maddy and Jacob meet, immediately, sparks fly, but what will happen when the fans and the people in town catch on?
