February Daily Writing Challenges 2015
I really want to get into writing again as it is my passion but I'm mostly focused on Playwriting, what I decided to do was complete daily challenges (30 mins) and see what I can come up with! Hopefully inspiring my YA fiction characters I'm not saying 30 mins is going to produce great stuff BUT it will get me into the habit of displaying my writing (even if it's not the best) and hopefully inspire characters or stories I have jammed in my head! Please feel free to comment or join me! For the first few months I'm going to take song lyrics from artists I enjoy and get me thinking and work it into the writing, then I'll eventually branch out with my own challenges once I've had enough practise! The Years Between
Intro: When the heavy door creaked open the small girl gasped at the cold air that hit her bare legs. The air that now filled her lungs, was quick to leave in a small laugh as she saw the view ahead of her. A thick blanket of fluffy snow covered every branch, rock, and building in sight. It sparkled under the bright sun. The girl didn't know how lucky she was to see the outdoors under these weather circumstances. The sky was usually painted in a sea of gray clouds that snowed endless white powder onto the kingdom 11 months out of the year. The brunette couldn't contain her smile as she peered out of the doors. It didn't matter that she could see her breath, or that goosebumps littered her skin, her feet stinging against the cold stone. She hadn't been outside- ever. ~~~~~~~~ A Knight saves her and then he leaves her. A broken hearted Nymph in a brand new world. Will he come back for her? ~~~~~ All pictures are from Pinterest!
