This story is about a 23 year old man named Ryoko Maki (Rye-oh-co) (Ma-key) who's day has been awful. First, his girlfriend breaks up with him. Then, he walks home in the rain with no umbrella. AND he meets a strange boy alone in a park who is soaking wet.  He hands the boy his only jacket and walks home. As he sets his bag on the couch and tries to relax, a ring is heard at his door. He opens the door to see the same boy from before. He asks for a place to stay and tells him that his name is Ayokita Sururo (Eye-o-key-ta) (Sir-ru-ru) and is anything  BUT a little boy.
