This is a superhero story, but not as you know it. This one has a twist.

One question that is always asked is, "If you could have a superpower, what would it be?" We all assume so many things when asked this question. We assume we'd actually get the ability to choose a superpower. If you think about it, none of the mainstream superheroes got to choose their powers; they just adapted their lifestyles to the power. This is where the twist comes in. Drew Tuller, 17, gets the chance to choose what superpower he wants. He gets to test out 33 different superpowers and gets to keep one in the end. He goes on his journey of attaining a power with his three best friends, Dirk, Brady, and Rachel. Join them, if you're brave enough. Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Oh... and angry, rampaging squirrels.
