*COVER ART IS MY OWN ORIGINAL WORK* In this portfolio of short stories, I have 22 works, 63 pages, and 19,204 words. My stories are organized by emotional theme, beginning with one story about emotion in general, and then moving through stories expressing distractedness, frustration, argument, love, fear, grief, sadness, humor, innocence, and self-love. About a year ago, I discovered my love for the short story and decided to build a collection of shorter works. I'm so glad I did; the variety of plots, characters, and settings I got to explore taught me so much, and I am beyond pleased with what I have to share. I hope you enjoy reading these snapshots of the human experience as much as I did creating them.Compleet

To have the weight of abuse on your back is miserable. Especially when you're falling in love. She had been controlled by manipulation and religion her whole life. Her soulmate being a woman was unthinkable. With the constant humiliations of her life, she believed she was exactly what everyone wanted her to be. A power-hungry whore who wanted to steal someone else's mate. Life can be a cruel thing. A life that is not your own is even worse.
