Asami wasn't the only one in this mess of a world. It was everyone. In the city of Tokyo, beauty was taken to another level. With genetic mutation being around every corner, people took advantage of it, so it wasn't strange to see a man lift a car with one hand anymore. The rich and poor, divided ever more by this magnificent scientific discovery. People didn't have to dye their hair anymore, they could genetically alter it for just a few bucks. The poor, however, got stuck with the more 'ugly' traits, with the rich not wanting to even converse with the likes of them. But the hair wasn't the only thing being changed. People could get immune to any disease. Imagine not having to deal with another cold or allergy ever again. This kind of power is something not to play with. There is something much deeper going on in Japan than anyone would ever think.
