Set in the world of Guild Wars 2, Cervato Caballero is a young woman who avoids making any sort of lasting relationships with others.  The fiery warrior has been trying to make a living after escaping her past in the Shining Blade and strives to keep it buried.  However,  she comes across people from all over the world of Tyria that forge themselves into her life, making her stronger than ever before.  Yet when her former mentor with a taste for revenge returns to remind her that she cannot atone merely by living a virtuous life, she must rely on them to set things right.  Then, when an unexpected reunion occurs with someone she lost, Cervato vows to bring his spirit peace within the Mists.  But at what cost?
