Karma

Karmin Hayashi doesn't remember what happened that night, other than a fuzzy image of herself draped over an unconscious body, with the police having to peel her off of him. Karmin Hayashi doesn't know why she's a suspect in a murder investigation, why she was with the victim at all, and who she is meant to be now. She doesn't know why this newcomer, a boy with a mischievous smile and a knack for poking his nose in all the wrong places, is so intrigued with her.
The only thing Karmin Hayashi is truly certain of is that she is being followed by whispers of her name, or what became her name after the incident: Karma.
