My mind quieted as my blood rushed. Demir? How could my mate be a Demir?
The Demirs were some of the most famously known as noble, pure-breded werewolves.
And while the other nobility packs faded out of the existence whenever the Alpha King got mad at them, the Demirs hung on during the toughest of times by pulling favors on the lower packs that they had previously defended from enemies or funded during low times.
The Demirs, however, never were classified as the "kindest pack". They were vicious, and brutual. They had seen millions of years go past in which their line outlived, and were willing to fight with everything they had to keep their pack safe. Everyone was scared of them.
