The Legacy Project

Izuku Midoriya was well acquainted with pain. It was slow, agonizing, and cruel. It was something that had a tendency to rear its ugly head at the worst times. In a similar fashion, he was also well acquainted with loss. The loss of friendships, dreams, hopes, the loss of the naivety he held as a child. Yes, Izuku truly had been spited by fate, seemingly loathed by its very existence. It oftentimes lead him to ponder where it all began, or if it was always like that. His past was muddled with emotions and disappointment, the cruelest of words had been burned into his very being ever since the diagnosis. "Quirkless" "Deku" "Useless."

It all grew to be dull. Cliche, even. That's how Midoriya, with the determination of a thousand and ten men, grew to achieve his dream in a slightly different manner.
