It's something he's always taken into consideration when it comes to Midoriya. Whenever something matters a lot to him, and he's talking about it, his voice grows quiet. Silent, almost. It just shows how badly he cares about it, taking extreme care into not turning a secret into something everyone knows of. And maybe that's one of the many reasons Todoroki even asked him to help him with this lie. Besides Kirishima requesting it not even a minute before he showed up, of course.
"You won't." Todoroki says half heartedly. He isn't sure, obviously. This whole thing could go either incredibly well or horribly wrong, but he trusts Midoriya. "Will you help me?"
Midoriya simply sighs. "I hope this turns out well.."
In a moment of anger, Todoroki Shouto ends up making a deal with his father. He would have to bring home a boyfriend to spend summer break with, or else he'd be forced to engage in quirk marriage. It is not a surprise to anyone in 2-A (or rather the few that know of the incident) that Midoriya Izuku is the one Todoroki seeks out for help.

Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done.
