Life has never seemed more serene than as I lay dying.
Blood coats the forest floor beneath me, connecting with the foilage-covered soil in a parade of musty, copper smells.
Through the rain drops that fall on me from the treetops, I can feel the icy breath of a dawning winter.
It will be cold this year.
It's a shame Ill never see it- I love the cold.
Most cold.
This cold that envelopes me now is hostile and uninviting, almost empty.
They say that when you're faced with death, your life flashes before your eyes. The same could not be said for me.
All I can think about in that moment, is the wolf.

As her finger just barely grazed the animal, multiples things happened. She felt something shock her causing her to pull her hand back, just as thunder and lightning sounded. When the light cleared the animals' eyes, were narrowed into slits, and it was growling. It was a deep menacing sound that sent her stumbling backward, heart wildly beating. It bared fangs the size of her hand alone dipping its head. Had her touch angered the animal into finally attacking her? She kept moving backward in the rain, slipping in her converses as the creature continued growling. It was then she knew she was prepared to run, no matter what happened. I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again.
