Percy Jackson's world encounters monsters and enemies on a daily basis, but to keep the world from going into an apocalypse, special people have powers and keep the world from going into a fiery ball of death. These people are the Olympians, a special family where every one has powers there, filthy rich, basically royalty, and loved by everyone. Most people have no powers at all or random specific powers. Percy however, is not so lucky. He lives with his deadbeat stepfather, Gabe. Gabe is mentally, physically, and emotionally  abusive, and makes Percy life a living hell. But everything changes on August 18
