With the Great War wreaking havoc in Europe, the frontlines quickly involve England and inevitably interrupts the growing relationship between him and America. There's no communication with the two when it happens, and eventually England begins to send letters to the other nation in hopes of maintaining a close bond.
What was expected to be a short war turned into something longer, bloodier, and problematic regarding England's desire to see the American nation once more.
But what if the letters imply something more than just a simple friendship between them, and what will America do when he begins for worry about the British nation?
