After defeating Lord Voldemort, Harry decides that there have been far too many deaths of the innocent. That's when he comes up with an idea to go back in time to kill Tom Riddle when the latter was yet to become a powerful wizard.
But things take an interesting turn when Harry discovers himself in a bigger mess than he had at first anticipated.
