Swinging London in 1967. A man approaches the now middle-aged Daisy and makes demands she cannot ignore. He is a desperate father whose fifteen-year-old daughter -- a hippie girl -- has disappeared without a trace a year before. The police is powerless, or indifferent, or both. "You must help me to find her, Daisy Hayes. And you know why I'm asking you? It's because I know that you're a real killer." This is not so much a crime mystery as a thriller. And thrillers can be brutal. Be warned. On the other hand, most thrillers are also morality tales at heart, and so is this one.

The cold breeze in my face, clinging tightly to my bare arms. My arms wrapped around my torso in an attempt to keep me warm. Tears streaming down my face as memories of Harry's cruel betrayal flood my mind. Of all days, he chose my birthday to hurt me. My red pumps creating a gentle click sound with every contact is made with the tarred road. Creating the only sound the night breeze brings to my ears. Asides from my sobs and the distant barks of the neighborhood dogs. My third sense is suddenly activated as I sense I'm being followed. I smell danger. Walking alone on such desolate streets doesn't seem like the best idea I could have come up with. I wasn't thinking straight when I made that choice. I should have called my driver to come to get me!. This creepy feeling becomes more intense and I decide to do the one thing I know I'm good at; run! I throw my purse and phone away as I begin to run in a frenzy I feel something hot on my trail, when I look back, all I see is dark fog. The more reason to run faster. The road fairly lit by moonlight, my heart in my mouth and prayers of help and mercy escaping my lips. Finally, I hear music playing from loudspeakers. I'm close to civilization!. I keep running frantically. One of my pumps is gone. Soon I see a club insight with a few people outside. I begin to scream for help when a figure suddenly appears before me. In fear, I make to run in the opposite direction but another figure is right behind me. Next thing I know; I'm surrounded by darkness. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°¢°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Tales of missing children are considered a fallacy till teenage Sonia goes missing... London 1888. The ripper is on the loose. Everyone despairs not knowing who hides behind the persona. Meanwhile four strangers lives intersect at this impossible moment in time. Each one of them carries a secret, the others cannot know. But time is precious and dirty business threatens to destroy their lives. What burdens do they carry? And how will Jack get to them all? Old summary: She loved his paintings. Always beautiful, a fever dream, red dots and black holes. Men on horses riding to the sunset or death as an angel before the Lord. He loved her but he did not understand how to love. He shivered at the thought, broke at the seams. And in the corners where the city lights could not fall no more, there he fell. The other one. He fell into a habit. Fell into blood. Fell into lust. Until he reached nirvana. ▪Finished
