    Queen Quartz had ruled the Hybrid Kingdom for many years. It was where she had met the love of her life; King Obsidian; and raised her daughter; Princess Emerald. But things have taken a nasty turn for the HybridWings. Quartz was attacked late in the night and died from the sting of a SandWing. Furious and heartbroken over her Mother's death, it's revealed to Emerald that this wasn't some mistake or accident. No, Quartz was the first Queen on their list to kill.

    And now the criminal is after the other Queens of Pyrrhia. Emerald steps out of the only home she's ever known to travel through the lands, in the hopes of saving the other Queens. As she explores the highest mountains, and the deepest of caverns, she learns more about the feud between Pyrrhia and the Hybrid Kingdom. And as more of it unravels, Emerald learns of a crucial detail. One that might have shattered her mother if she were alive.

WoF Fanfiction - discontinued and really bad Hybrid was, well, a hybrid. She used to have a good life, kept hidden from the public. She didn't know what type of dragon she was and had no friends, but that didn't matter. She had her icewing dad, who took her out hunting and loved her enough to make up for everything else twofold. She thought that her difference wasn't necessarily bad. That all changed one day. Hybrid and her father were out, close to where they usually went hunting, and were celebrating her third birthday by going whaling. They were spotted. Another icewing took down her father, killing him for harboring a hybrid. Hybrid was dumped in the desert outside of the wall, where she was found by a sandwing. The sandwing drug her out to die in the dunes. She survived. Barely. After being stabbed by the sandwing's tail barb, she thought she was done for. The last thing that she remembered was her front talons feeling way too cold, especially in contrast to her sunburnt body. Then, black. When she woke up, she was even more different. A/N: I apologize, because, looking back, I kind of lost any inspiration for the first idea, can't mesh it with the idea I tried to throw in, and it would not make sense to ignore either of them....... So yeah this is discontinued, it's really a bad story. I may revamp it into a situation that makes more sense some time in the near future, though. Now she has a chance to meet new dragons at Jade Mountain Academy. She meets a friend who is a firescales, so he can touch her, his name is Falcon, he is a Skywing. Snowdrift likes him, a lot. Except the Ice Kingdom is melting and there is going to be a war between the Skywings and Icewings. Who will win? Part 2: Falcon and ShiftingSky go off to the new Ice Kingdom. Once there an unexpected event happens. The three dragons go back and get there revenge. Part 3: The Skywings and Icewings are at peace now but not for long food and wateris gonna run out, ShiftingSky knows that, so she goes off alone to restore the Ice Kingdom.
