In a world where less than a billion people have survived the nuclear war, and every living human is dying of a chronic poison-gas induced disease, Logan, a young, vengeful, scientist with an itchy trigger finger is resolved to find the cure.

Instead he finds Tracy, a jaded and mysterious young woman whose three-year-old daughter Giselle seems to be immune to the disease. Tracy and her daughter are being hunted by hitmen and drug dealers, and Logan, who intervenes, comes head to head with the sociopath who will stop at nothing to have little Giselle--and the fate of humanity--in his hands.
