World where you are born with a jewel pendant around your neck. This pendant changes color based off of the mood of your soulmate. Upon first contact with your soulmate both pendants will glow a bright pink.
Logan never liked the idea of soulmates, or even emotions for that matter, so he takes the pendant as a challenge and tries to use his advanced mind to try and find his supposed "soulmate". Meanwhile, his closest friend, Virgil, is struggling to come to terms with his new found partner.

He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on.
