He never understood his indescribable fascination with fire. From a young age he couldn't get enough of the mesmerizing orange flame that was the prettiest thing he had ever seen, yet, was never allowed to touch. That peeved him. He wanted to touch it. To control it. His love of fire consumed him whole. What was funny is that he was a kid you never would have suspected. But by the time the people around him realized, he was too far gone.
