Julia Singer is the daughter of Bobby Singer and she's been kept in the dark about her dads... *cough cough* Hunting business and his buddies, Sam and Dean Winchester. The boys make frequent visits to their home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, time and time again. They never really officially met Julia but they knew about her and they knew not to tell her anything about the work that they do.

Missouri Matthews is just your normal average girl, well, as normal as any other 37 year old can be. She's never done drugs, she's never been out drinking- scratch that, she's a drinker. Hell she's even the best bartender in the whole damn city of Lebanon. That's where she lives, her father is comatose, her mother is dead and she knows nothing about any of the outside world. The real world. Not until she meets the boys one day when they come to ask her some stupid questions, in her bar main bar, and the questions lead to both her mother's killer and her father's attacker.

While the boys are in Lebanon, Sam receives a call from the last person that he would expect to call him first. Bobby- well, it's actually Julia. Julia has a problem and she needs one or both of the boys to come and help her out with it, though she would prefer that Sam come to her on this one. She wants the truth and she knows that she'll be able to get the truth from him. Even if she has to pry it out of him with a crowbar. Dean on the other hand, chooses to stay with Missouri in Lebanon. The two team up to find out what's going on around the city, find her mother's killer and the demon that attacked her father.
