New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. The universe run by Mothu is crazy. Powers run rampant in this world, and people can live over 10x longer than in ours. In this world, humans, over the course of millions of years, had made a reliable form of fast space travel. They had spread out and explored the universe, inhabiting and colonizing various planets. They found orbs, orbs that held immense powers. One of those orbs, the one of time was taken back to earth, as it was the first-place humans lived, so it got first dibs. Unfortunately, they tried to use the time orb to bring back people from the dead too many times. The orb malfunctioned and send the earth and its inhabits back millions of years to year zero. No one really cared and left earth stuck back in its past. The other orbs were taken and spread out between key planets, all of which were among the first planets to be colonized. They were renamed after the orb they received. Of course, peace was never going to last. People began fighting over the orbs that granted such wonderful powers. The fighting lasted for centuries. Around 500at (at=after time warp of earth,) Four people with enormous powers rose to the top and took all the orbs for themselves. They were eventually sealed away by a resistance group and the galaxy made a treaty to try to prevent such an event from ever happening again. Peace took hold once again and people freely traveled between planets. Security became more and more lax, people became more trusting again. All of this left the door wide open for one man to go on a mission to reclaim the orbs, in hopes of bringing back those four men...Complete
