What if the first human survived and didnt die? This is my take on what could have happened. 

Chara and Frisk are both female in this.

Undertale belongs to Toby Fox.

The fallen human, Chara, remains alive living in the Underground. Although she suffered from Axiety and PTSD she began her life with Asriel.

The barrier is broken, monsters and humans are living in peace, everyone is happy except for one person. Frisk has been getting waking nightmares about not saving Asriel. They want to save him to erase all guilt and to be with their friend. But Asriel isn't the only one that needs to be saved. Something, someone lurks inside Frisk's soul. Someone deadly and has a hunger for power, and can kill anyone they want. A/N Frisk and Chara are both gender ambiguous in this story. Also there will be a little bit of Frisk x Asriel in this story, but this is not a Frisk x Asriel fanfiction. Credit to @karinacat59 for the cover. Pretty self explanatory. This takes place after the Pacifist route in Undertale. Through determination, Frisk was able to bring back Chara, Asriel (Asriel is Flowey per say), and Gaster. I believe that Gaster is the father of Sans and Papyrus. I also don't believe that Chara is evil. The monsters are on the surface, and although they are amongst humans, most humans have accepted them.

In the undertale universe a human fell down into the underground (AKA the monsters' home) this human is known as Frisk. She (Canonically she is gender neutral but for the sake of the fanfic they will be known as a she) befriended the entire underground by freeing them from a seemingly eternal spell that trapped them down there for many years. Though to get there Frisk had to sacrifice a friend (Asriel) and from that day on frisk just couldn't get the fact that she couldn't save someone out of her head. And she will soon find out that she'll have to sacrifice a lot more.
