Emelda Marie Asuncion and Drew Gunner Aston are classmates in one of their subjects for straight four years. The latter has bright, confident personality that makes him attract more attention.

Emelda Marie Asuncion feels uneasy when Drew Aston starts coming her way for the last year of them being classmates. She gets annoyed every time Drew comes near her, knowing that the boy has a reputation of being a "playboy".

Emelda has doubts and guarded herself from Drew. She keeps on seeing him as a boy who only loves to play around. She doesn't want him to use that mischievous trick on her.

As time passes, Emelda Marie discovers that there is more to Drew than her set not-so-pretty perspective of him. She slowly gets to know him. But by the moment she realizes that she has feelings for Drew, is the moment he drifts away.
