I had been living in this dystopian universe my whole life. We lived simple, meaningless lives. I wasn't sad, merely dissatisfied. No one here was ever sad. The Center, which was our government, forced us to take a pill every morning to make sure we were always happy and healthy. For most of our lives we lived at home with our odd families that the government stuck us into as babies. Usually five children were put into each household. We grew up together in a single house, raised and taught by a robot even though none of us were related. We lived at home with limitless entertainment in the form of advanced technologies. We had one day of the week for shopping, one day for going out and one day for labor. On labor days we were assigned a job and had to complete it in order to gain money for the week. Everyone got the same amount no matter the job. If you didn't show up for these jobs there were grave consequences. The Center often used torture as a method of punishment, or so we were told. No one close to me had ever actually been punished by The Center though. It was incredibly rare. Most of us lived our lives as good little pawns doing nothing more than eating, sleeping and entertaining ourselves. But one day, my regular boring life changed...Complete

Nothing in my life had ever made sense. It sounded crazy but I knew it was real and getting there, finding her and fixing the bridge that I'd unwittingly burned was going to be hard but I was ready to be more than a desk jockey typing my life away. She pauses and looks at me then puts down my paper and speaks to the crowd "She doesn't remember anything about being alive so she is an oddity and a collectible. Shall we start the biding at 10000 hellions". All the sudden many voices shout out some low deep voices some high voices and some don't even sound like voices just gurgles. The woman who read my paper seems to be able to keep track and calls out the highest bidder. "Do I hear 65000?" Less voices shootout but they're still too many that I can't pick out. I'm being sold? Olivia was your average 18 year old girl. Keyword, 𝙬𝙖𝙨, until she drowned in a lake and woke up in a crappy novel her friend recommended to her. The character she'd been convinced to read it for ended up being a small-time, side villain that disappeared half-way through the story, Olivia Auclair, the duke's sickly eldest daughter with the same first name as her. And just as her luck would have it, she now is living as that Olivia. Truthfully, she barely knew what she was getting into or why she was sent here after death in the first place. The only recollection she had of the story was the spoiled, self-centered heroine, Angelica, with a generic backstory and extremely overpowered abilities, the main characters who surround her, and of course, her hatred for the fictional book. Her saving grace to stay alive and well? Well of course it is to befriend the two most prominent characters within her reach, the antagonist and the male lead. Both of which eventually would be roped into the heroine's harem, but if all went right then hopefully by then she wouldn't have anything to worry about. Unfortunately, her plan backfired some where along the way, and now she is faced with the heroine's silent wrath and jealousy, her pawns overprotectiveness, an adopted noble's persistence, family drama, and the ever enclosing end of the story. What's a girl to do in her second life except lie down and accept her impending doom? -> Currently being rewritten!!! <-
