Whilst humans go about their simple lives a storm is brewing. With the coming of new technology and research comes a new threat, but also a new beginning. Meet Evelyn Wilson, the result of experimentation, but also the only chance of stopping the threat she almost became.

Evelyn's always known she's different, but what she's never known is that she's not alone. When she was abandoned she assumed she would never again meet a person like herself, but when she does she is instantly thrown into a world where the only option left is life or death.
