"I don't need him." A mantra said every night, a spell hoping to work, and a strength badly required. Strangers accuses of her being weak, for being unable to free the man's hold on her. What they do not know is she is irrevocably in love with him. A string of profanities, a paragraph of silent confessions, and a pair of eyes darkened by depression. Step in her shoes for once; not as a weak woman but as a strong woman who endures the tests thrown by him and believing in true love will reach his stone cold heart.

This is a series of poems about a woman i was once in love with long ago. Everything was sweet like strawberries at first, but deep down she was just using me as a rebound to get over a broken heart she has. We met in a speech class one semester, I couldn't talk to her, I shyly had someone else to talk to her. long story short, I should have got to know her like should, because she judged me for what had and didn't have. i loved her so much that I knew that she was cheating on me and wanted her to stay, but God removed her out of my life. she done so much wrong to me, but love her even of all her flaws. This is part one of the collections of me expressing my love to her.
