Thalia Jasmine Erikson has been bullied most of her life because she was different. From a young age she has been able to see visions of the future and the past, no one was able to give an answer as to why she had this ability. 

Some saw it as a blessing but most saw it as an abomination, including her pack.

Constanlty being called a freak and ostracized by her fellow pack members her age for something she can't control or fully comprehend, it's not a surprise when Thalia readily agrees to move away to visit family for six months. The real surprise comes when Thalia is faced with her mte the day before she is set to leave and is forced to make a decision that could impact her future indefinitely.
