Malody Garmadon is Lloyd's older half sister who was born several years before the start of the show  and some years before Garmadon and Wu met Misako. The team must adapt to working with Malody who had worked by herself for years after the fall of her father. Lloyd and Malody have to learn to work together as family and overcome the fact that they don't know how to act like siblings without putting their differences of their relationship.
